Commemoration of Sri Y. S. Rajasekhara Reddy's first death anniversary by Dallas Telugu Community happened on Sunday, September 5,  at FunAsiA, Richardson, TX. Sri Y S Vivekananda Reddy, younger brother of Dr. YSR, former MP from Kadapa and current Member of AP Legislative Council (MLC) was Guest of Honor.

Lot of programs were performed including

Distribution of canned food for the needy at downtown Dallas Shelter home.
Brief prayers from major world religions (Hindu, Christian, Islam & Sikh),
Short speeches by several prominent local community leaders
Slide show of the life & times of Dr. YSR followed by Dinner.

On the request of The Organizing Committee a lot Telugu population from Dallas Metro Area came to be part this event and pray respects to Sri YSR, who tirelessly worked to bring AP state to new hights.

Many prominent people including representatives from various organizations came to the event including IANT, TANA, TANTEX, ATA, Funasia. Many business

leaders attended the event.

The event ended with a short speech by Sri Y S Vivekananda Reddy, younger brother of Dr. YSR. Then dinner was served.
